Deadly Connections
Every week, we meet on Gadigal Land to run and connect.
This week, let's Pay the Rent. We are supporting Deadly Connections, a local Aboriginal community run organisation, delivering programs for families, parents, young people and those with lived experience of the justice system.

No matter the size of your donation, collectively it all makes an impact.
Shout out to Bronte for leading the charge with this fundraiser
Sun 09 Jun - Jane’s Walk
One of KXTC’s missions is to connect with our local community. This aligns really nicely with Jane’s Walk’s, a global iniative for people to discover and connect with their cities and neighborhoods on foot.
For this collaboration, we are heading to Sydney's Inner West to explore the art and culture of neighborhoods beyond the main streets with Jane's Run.
When: 9am on Sunday 9th of June
Route: This run is a 7km route exploring graffiti pieces and murals by various artists.
Meeting Spot: outside Newtown Station
Bag drop: None
Thur 20 Jun - Winter Solstice Track 5000
To mark the shortest day of the year, we’re putting on another community track 5km time trial (not a race). This is an opportunity to put your pace to the test and support others. Two heats, music and vibes.
Who: All paces, all faces, all crews, all weather.
When: Thursday 20th June
Where: E.S. Marks
Cost: $6 track entry. Prepay here
Schedule:
6:30pm | Warm up & welcome
7:00pm | 1st heat | 20 mins & under

Coming up: Gold Coast Marathon
5 weeks to go. We always have a big crew heading up for GC. Reach out if you’re heading up, and its a great weekend away to both smash out a race, but hang with the crew before and after the race. Last year we also connected with our local friends from The Salt Social for their after party, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for announcements.
Coming up: Sydney Marathon
15 weeks to go. Sold out. 24,000 runners. Australia’s largest ever marathon.
Training: great time to start your build up to the race. Reach out to crew mates for people to train with, but remember the golden rule to never increase your mileage by 10% per week.
Race: for those not worried about time, but wanting a group to help get you across the line, we’ve got your back.
Weekend: KXTC are cooking up some plans for our community over the marathon weekend including shakeout, cheerpoint and post race chill.
Recap: Hoka Runaway Sydney Half Mara
This was a huge weekend of crew love. From a shakeout run on saturday, huge race performances all round, a massive cheerpoint, and celebrations continued at the Old Fitz.
KXTC went deep with a big crew showing up at the crack of dawn on a cold rainy morning to set up the cheerpoint, supporting from the first to the last runner. The cheerpoint grew as runners finished and passed on the support they had just received.
Fireball to help runners smash out the last km.
A strong representation of what KXTC is about: generously showing up to support our crewmates, rather than what’s on a stopwatch.
