This week KXTC celebrates 9 (nine!!!) years of Coke sign congregations, Opera House loops, and crossing paths with runners from all over the world.

Join us at 630pm on Tuesday the 30th of Jan to celebrate with our regular social tuesday run and some post-run refreshments and cake.

Running optional. Join us at the KX Hotel at 745pm if you can’t make the run.

Sun Run - 3rd Feb

If running 10K from Dee Why to Manly at 6.30am sounds like your cup of tea, you’re not alone. KXTC has a crew going down to take part in the Sun Run on Saturday the 3rd of February.

Post race we’re heading to the The Beresford (beer garden) from 2pm to celebrate/commiserate.

Chinese New Year run with Chinatown Run Club - 7th Feb

KXTC and Chinatown Run Club are coming together for a run through Sydney’s undefeated Chinatown for Chinese/Lunar New Year. This will be a Wednesday night run starting and finishing in Chinatown. More details to come on socials.

Pride 5000 - 22nd Feb

Let’s celebrate Pride, Mardi Grad and our LGBTQIA+ community by running around a track. We’ll be doing this again in 2024, with more details to come.

Canberra Marathon - 7th April

It’s almost time for Canberra again! Last year a huge group of us drove down to the capital to smash some carbs and PBs in equal measure across the 10km, Half and Marathon.

KXTC End of 2023 Party Recap

Despite it being the hottest day of the year, we descended on Reg Bartley Oval and came together an afternoon of silliness. The crew came together to celebrate what had been a fantastic year of running, and handed out some awards. After the sun went down, we headed over to the Old Fitz to round off the day.

Queenstown Marathon

Kia Ora! In late November, KXTC runners descended on Tahuna, Aotearoa (NZ) for the Queenstown Running Festival.

Crew smashed out the marathon from Arrowtown, some the half marathon and the final few killed it in the 10km, running the scenic trails surrounding Queenstown and finished around the glistening Lake Wakatipu.

Beyond the running, the weekend was a moment of connection and community. Pasta the night before the races was followed by some post-run shenanigans with a bougie dinner, rooftop cocktails and kick-ons at a cowboy bar.

[mo]re than a run 2023

On the 25th of November, KXTC participated in [mo]re than a run to raise awareness, and break the stigma for mental health. There was a massive turnout to run the 10k in recognition of the 1 in 10 living with an anxiety disorder, the 30k for 30% rise in suicides in Australia over the last decade and 60k for the 60 we lose around the world to suicide every hour.
